Bridgeless IslandNo bridge, highways, cars, and no crowded beaches. We are located on the South West Coast of Florida, 4 islands North of Captiva Island and 11 miles South of Venice/Sarasota. It is closed to the public, just relax and enjoy the sounds and sights of nature. You can watch the dolphin and
manatee play from
your front porch. Enjoy world class fishing, shelling or just getting a sun tan.
You can bring your own boat or on-boaters will be provided with
transportation to and from the island. Visitors park at Eldred’s Marina and take the 4 minute boat ride
across the bay to the island. This will be your home away from home. Dishes, lines, beach
towels, and household products are provided. Just bring your clothes, groceries and
suntan oil and leave your worries behind. Nature 
Enjoy the
tranquility of a beautiful, unspoiled environment. Explore the nature trails that
reveal the mangrove wilderness and buttonwood trees. Don't be surprised if you stumble across the
endangered gopher tortoises and rabbits that inhabit Little Gasparilla Island. If you are
a bird watcher, this island is host to hundreds of ospreys, bald eagles, and many other
rare birds. Sea Turtles visit our beach to lay their eggs during the summer and
fall.
Lose The Crowds
There are no commercial businesses or restaurants on this private island. What you won't
find on little Gasparilla Island is commercial stores, noisy vehicles, unwanted visitors
and crowded beaches. You will leave all that behind when you arrive on the Island.
It's just you, the white sand, the soothing sounds and the breath taking sights of the
Gulf of Mexico - something few visitors to Florida's Southwest's Coast ever
experience. There are lots of restaurants along the water ways that are
accessible by boat. Your home is on a private island, yet only a 20 minute drive from
major shopping malls and movie theaters. When on the mainland, there are
over 75 restaurants and 20 local golf courses and within minutes of your marina.
Fashioned in the Hexagon Style, this home is designed to provide
you the ultimate in comfort. The large glass dome in the center of the home provides
sunshine throughout this home. Enjoy the unobstructed view of the Bay. This
home stands 45 FT. from the waters edge. There is an elevated 100 ft. walkway from your
front door that leads directly to the dock.

Unwind
When you arrive on the island, you will snug
your boat up to your own private dock. Jump in your electric golf cart and take the one
minute ride or two minute walk up the nature trail to the Gulf side of the island. There
you will discover 7 miles of beautiful white sand beach. Your umbrella and lounge chairs
will be waiting for you. Fish for tarpon, snook, redfish, flounder, snapper or net shrimp
from your own
private dock. You can also charter a fishing trip
with one of the many local professional guides. If you like to collect shells, you have
come to the right place. Little Gasparilla Island is among the worlds top shelling
beaches. Swimming is a pleasure in the warm calm tranquil waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

**FROM NORTH going SOUTH**NORTH:
TAMPA
- ORLANDO -
ATLANTA - ETC.**
Take I 75 South to Exit no.191 (old 34) River Road. The sign on 75
will say Manatee Community college and Englewood. Turn to the RIGHT at
bottom of ramp. Proceed west 6 miles to US 41. At the traffic light you
will go across US 41 and continue straight 6.3 miles. You will come to
another traffic light. This is Pine St. turn LEFT! The second light
you come to will bring you to Rt. 776. Road changes name to Rt. 775.
Continue straight through this intersection and you will see a Publix and
K-Mart on your RIGHT. Good place to stop and buy your food and supplies.
Once you load your car, please call David Haynes at 941-697-9797 to tell him
you are on your way. You have about a 10 minute ride to marina, this will
give David plenty of time to meet you. Road turns sharp left just
before marina. Gasparilla Marina will be on your right AFTER hair pin
turn. Wait at ship store by picnic tables! DO NOT UNLOAD YOUR CAR!!!!!!!

Take I 75 NORTH to Exit no.170 (old 31) Kings Highway Turn LEFT off
ramp! Go to first intersection (stay in your RIGHT LANE) turn RIGHT
onto Veterans Hwy. Road turns to your RIGHT. Stay in your RIGHT LANE!
Stay on
Veterans Hwy.
about 7 miles. You will cross over large intersection Hwy. 41. Continue
straight, Veterans Hwy. now becomes RT. 776. Follow RT. 776 about 7 miles
and you will come to a traffic light RT. 771. Gas station on your right &
Publix on your left. Turn LEFT onto RT. 771 towards Boca Grande. This is a
good place to buy your supplies! Call David Haynes at 941-697-9797 and let
him know your ETA. Continue down RT. 771 about 6 miles. Marina will
be on your LEFT. Wait at ship store for Shane. ****DO NOT UNPACK YOUR CAR
